GROUP EXERCISE FOR ALL ALUMNI Lets face it - there’s no use going for a Reunion if there’s no one to reunite with. So, lets do this brief exercise: think of the old friends you would like to see again. Now look at it this way: if you want to start traveling around to see each of them, you will bite off more than you can chew – some are too far, too near, too busy, and no one has the time to traipse around the word just to ‘visit old friends’.
However, wouldn’t it be just grand if all your friends – and you – could just be at the Reunion? Its cheaper, it’s nicer, they also see old friends and not just you – and best of all, it happens at the place where it all started!
That’s why we believe in Reunion. Once every two years, you deserve a chance to see, in a relaxed atmosphere, not just your boss/employee/neighbours/what have you, but to meet valued friends once again.
If you believe in this, why not pick up a pen and jot down the names of 5 friends you would like to meet at the Reunion. Then, give them a call / email, demanding that they should be there. No Lagos deadlines, no traffic, no appointments – just 2 days of fellowship.
And if ECU means anything to us, will we stay calm while a small donation from each of us can purchase a bus that will keep Agbogbo, Aba Gbooro, various secondary schools, hospitals, mission fields etc on the map of Christian service through ECU?
Just a thought.............
