AT YOUR WORD…

Dear Brethren,

It is the dawn of a New Month! August is here great family of God and we are rest assured that the great promises of light, salvation, deliverance and provision in God’s Word will be our portion this new month in Jesus mighty name.

ONLY HIS WORD MAKES SENSE IN THIS CHAOTIC WORLD
The events of things across the globe this season has not only left the experts and authorities dazed in a macabre of uncertainties, but with so many begging for answers and solutions. At home here in Nigeria, we have all witnessed how the economic outlook has suddenly taken a twist, leaving so many individuals, families and entities gasping for breath.

We are not nonchalant as a body as regards all of these events. Our firm hope and faith has been in the infallibility of the living Word of God as our sure anchor this season. Only His Word makes sense presently. Not the economic outlooks; not the weather reports; not the financial analysis; and not the political atmosphere! Only His Word! And we admonish all our brethren to hold firmly to His Word this season and always, as the sure anchor for our souls.
“But Simon answered and said to Him, Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net.” – Luke 5:5

THE EMPOWERMENT CENTER PROJECT UPDATE – TOWARDS COMPLETION & FURNISHING
We have rounded off the Flooring and Tiling Stage of the ECU Empowerment Center building project on campus. Check the picture link for updates (bit.ly/empowermentphotos). And we want to say a big thank you to all our members for your unrelenting support and contribution. Thank you.

The next phases of the project we need to mobilise towards now are:
1. The Installation of all Exterior and Interior Doors
2. The Electrical Works, Fittings and Accessories
3. The Sanitary/Plumbing Works, Wares and Accessories
4. The External Environment Landscaping, Layout and Gardening
5. The Furnishing and Fittings
6. The Painting
7. Power/Energy Supply, Components and Backup
8. The Installation of Equipment and Sounds
9. Miscellaneous Works

We have set out with a plan to finish all the phases of the works on or before the end of September 2023. And we are still counting on our support, donation and contribution towards making the project completion timeline a reality.

THE 2023 ECU ALUMNI GLOBAL REUNION & 60TH DIAMOND JUBILEE ANNIVERSARY IS 80 DAYS AWAY!
The Reunion is here! The countdown has kicked off! This Reunion will be memorable in so many ways and one of such is it will be a Hybrid Programme. We will be hosting the programme physically at the ECU Empowerment Center on OAU Campus and at the same time have it streamed live on all our digital platforms. In addition, there will be a dedicated camp for all our children and teenagers during the Reunion so that all parents can have adequate time to refresh in God’s presence.  So, no distraction and no excuse for any member not to attend. We therefore appeal to us all to Register to attend so we can make adequate plans for all logistics. Find the registration link below.
